This Privacy Statement is effective as of April 27, 2018 and applies only to our Site and not to any other company, individual, organization or website that you may reach via a link from this Site.

If at any time you have a question about anything contained in this Privacy Statement or a general query on privacy, please contact us.
Consent and Changes to the Privacy Statement—Registering with the Site and purchasing or downloading our content and products (both free and paid) signifies your consent to us collecting and using personal information about you in accordance with this Privacy Statement, which may be amended from time to time. Should we choose to change our Privacy Statement for any reason, the changes will be posted on this page. Information That We Collect—The information that we collect falls under three main categories: personally identifiable information, log files, and cookies (collectively, the “Information”):

Personally Identifiable Information—Although areas of this Site are made available to all visitors, before you can access or use the content, you must read this Privacy Statement and register with the Site to make purchases under our Terms of Use. Should you not register your details and create an account, you will not be able to purchase or use the products.

During account creation and payment, a user is required to provide the following information:
• Name
• Address (including street, city, state, and country)
• Email address
• Phone number
• Personal information you give us that we did not request (such as personal information you voluntarily put into an email to us, for example if you apply to a position advertised on our Site, or that you may disclose as a comment to one of our blog posts).

• To buy items from the Website, you must provide certain information (like name and address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date, and CVV code). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your order(s). If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you. After a transaction, your billing information (credit card number, credit card expiration date, etc…) will not be stored on our servers.

We reserve the right to ask for your date of birth to verify your age. Please note that we will not knowingly collect the personal information of any individual who tells us that he or she is under the age of 18. If we determine that an individual under the age of 18 has submitted personally identifiable information to this Site, we will delete that information.

Log Files—We or our platform service provider, WordPress, may periodically gather certain information automatically and store it for approximately two weeks in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp and clickstream data. Log files are deleted automatically every two weeks.

Cookies—Cookies are small files of information that are stored on your computer. Websites that you visit ask your computer to store this information and retrieve the information from your computer so that they can keep track of things like other websites you visit or how you navigate our Site or other files that direct you to the Site. For more information about what cookies are and how they work, visit www.allaboutcookies.org.

On revisiting our website or in using the files, our computer server will recognize the cookie and give us information about your use of the Site. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but usually you can alter the settings of your browser to prevent automatic acceptance. If you choose not to receive cookies, you may still use the Site but you may find that the Site does not function properly or is slower than when you allow a cookie to be installed on your machine.

Limiting Collection of Personal Information: We limit the collection of personal information to that which is necessary to fulfill the purposes identified in this Privacy Statement and we collect, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Statement.

Access to Personally Identifiable Information—We, and only we, have access to and collect information that you provide through any direct contact with us, or that you voluntarily provide when you register with the Site. We do not receive payment processing information, as payment processing is handled by our vendors Stripe and/or PayPal. Your use of third party payment processing services in connection with your member registration is subject to the Privacy Statement of such third party website. We do not share personally identifiable information with any third party outside of the Company, other than with entities that are involved in helping us to run our Site, or as necessary to fulfill your request for our content (i.e., payment processing services).

The entity that help us run our site is currently WordPress, which provides hosting to us, Woocommerce which provides the ecommerce platform, and Stripe and PayPal, which currently provide or have provided credit card payment processing services to us. To purchase any content from our Site, you will have to comply with the terms of our payment partners and will need to review and agree to their privacy statements. We will share information with Stripe and/or PayPal only to the extent necessary for the purposes of confirming payments you make for materials from our Site and to enable us to retrieve payments from Stripe and/or PayPal. WordPress and Woocommerce provide the technology on which our Site runs and holds and maintains the databases in which data about our users is contained. WordPress and WooCommerce will only use data you provide to the extent necessary to enable us to operate the Site.

We may also use and disclose your personal information to third parties under the following limited circumstances:

• To service providers that help with our operations and Site, including, without limitation, for customer services, monitoring and analyzing Site activity, and operating and maintaining the Site.  Such service providers and partner companies may only use your personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement;
• When necessary to protect our safety, property or other rights, our representatives, customers and users of the Site, including to detect and prevent fraud;
• If we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets to a related company or a third party. Your personal information will remain subject to any pre-existing Privacy Statement unless you agree to the privacy policy of the company or third party that acquires your personal information; or
• With your consent.

Disclosure and Retention of Personal Information—From time to time, we may wish to use personal information for new or additional purposes, in which case we will amend the Privacy Statement to include these new or additional purposes and will obtain your consent through your continued use of our Site. We retain your personal information only for as long as we need it to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to ensure your compliance with our Terms of Use, and to comply with our legal obligations.

What We Do With the Information—We use personally identifiable information to process orders you make from our Site. In order to process your payment for the content and to reconcile our accounts, any online payment processing partner that we may use from time to time may provide us with information detailing the credits and/or debits made to your credit/debit card.

With your prior consent, we may also contact you from time to time with updates about the Site or to let you know about our services by sending you newsletters and news on events that you may be interested in. By signing in to our newsletters you give us your consent to receive newsletters from us. You can revoke your consent to receive such marketing material at any time by emailing customerservice@sofontsy.com. We do not sell or rent personally identifiable information to anyone or use it in any other capacity.

Information that we may collect from log files gives us a general picture of who is visiting our Site and which pages are being viewed. This information is not specific to an individual viewer and may be collected only to assist us in the maintenance and administration of our Site. The purpose of collecting log files is to research what pages are of most interest and use to our visitors and members. Log file information is not linked to personally identifiable information.

The data that is collected through the use of cookies assists WooCommerce’s ability to verify user accounts and track user activity in the Site. WordPress additionally allows the use of third party cookies to assist with analyzing the performance of the Site. Any third party cookie usage is governed by the privacy policy or privacy statement of such third party. We use the following third party services:

We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies on your browser.
